To run the London marathon is a challenge but to the 26.2 miles in a cardboard model of the yellow three wheeled van from 'Only fools and horses' is pretty good going.
Meeting celebrities is always awe-inspiring, but when these folk invite you to be part of their fundraising event.. it is a sign of great achievement.

Through Glyn's hardwork, dedication and support from the clubs committee- this club is getting bigger and better each week.
With athletic 'legend' Katherine Merry ahead of filming for Central news and training for the OLYMPIC PARK RUN.
Katherine was amazed by Glyn's stories of endurance running and World record breaking treadmill acheivements.
And to top it all- Running across the Grand Canyon, Glyn is the only person she knows to have ran across the Grand Canyon.
To be asked to be a guest speaker for a top running brand is a real honour and for Glyn Marston this honour was bestowed upon him.
Glyn was sponsored by ASICS UK and was asked to appear on their stand at the London marathon expo ( 2003), he spoke of his gruelling challenges and his intense training schedules. More importantly, he spoke of his one and only favourite running shoe..... ASICS NIMBUS. Glyn would not wear anything else to run in.
